BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENTS.

Remember the benefit dance at Kokiri on Friday evening next. The monthly meeting of the Chamber of Commerce will be held this evening at 8 o’clock.

Jurors summoned to attend at the Supreme Court sittings at Greymouth tomorrow (Wednesday) morning are notified that their attendance will not be required. The ordinary meeting of the Greymouth Wharf Labourers’ Union is called for to-night at the usual time and place. The striking of levies, election of officers, etc., are set down on the order paper.. Elsewhere shareholders of the Grey-Cob-den Industrial Building Society are noti fied that, an appropriation of £3OO by sale will be held on Monday, find July.

All those who have not forwarded in their lists to the secretary, Mr H. Hahn. Kokin, in connection with Mr O. Thomson and family’s benefit, are requested to do so before Wednesday next. Read advertisement for further particulars.

On Wednesday next at 2 p.m., Messrs Harley and Co. will sell by public auction a leasehold section with seven-roomed house thereon and known as “Martin’s Boardinghouse,” situate at the corner of Frederick and William streets, also furniture and effects.

Ilessrs William Holder and Sons advertise that they have again secured a quantity of local honey, which they are offering in 21b jars or in bulk. As there is only a limited supply of honey this year owing to the bad weather, we would advise people to order early to save disappointment. . •
