■ LONDON,. April 11. The House of Commous was densely crowded 1 this afternoon when' i\ bill providing for the' self-government of Ireland, was introduced. All the public seats were secured in the House hours before proceedings commenced. The Premier said: that there would be an ’ IrisK, Senate of forty all, nominated and House of Commons of. 164, of whom 59 would represent Ulster. The bill provided that’.42 Irish members would sit in the Imperial Parliament. ■ •
Among matters excluded - from the Irish Parliament. were Crowii i and tniperial Affairs, NaVy and Armyj; Land Purchase Act, Old Age Pensions, National Insurance,’ iponstabiilary, Post Post Office Savings Bank and collection of Imperial taxes,- ,

The cardinal principle ,was!/’- tliat the Imperial Parliament would riot surrender its supreme authority. The Premier explained that the Irish Parliament would be unable to endow any religion. There would. be no religious tests; nor interference with validity of mixed marriages. The Premier added that the Irish revenue would be collected' Imperially and transferred' to Irish Parliament with a grant at the outset of £500,000 yearly. Customs and excise would he transferred to Ireland with limitations as to imp-easing customs. An angry- scene ensued. ■ 1 Mr Bouar Law repeated that the Government had sold themselves for votes., ■ The Premier indignantly' rebutted this allegation. Sir Edward Carson sahl was ridiculous and unworkable. ' / ■ ■
