That' New Zealand can obtain locally cordials which are in every respect equal to the world’s best is evidenced by the fact that the cordials manufactured by Messrs Thomson and Co. have received the endorsement of two of the world’s best authorities. These authorities arc Sir Charles Cameron, C-R-> M.D., F.R.C.p. P.R.O.S-. F.1.C., Professor of Chemistry E.C.S.I, Ex-President and Professor of Hygiene and Chemistry of th; Royal College of Surgeons and Public Analyst; and Mr E Godwin Clayton, F.1.C., F.C.S., member of tlie Society of Public Analysts, consulting chemist, analyst, bacteriologist and assayer, author of “Compendium of Food Microscopy,” and other works. Of Thomson’s raspberry vinegar Sir Charles says, amongst other things, that he has “never met with a belter specimen,” while Mr Clayton affirms that “it is one of the best products of the kind ever submitted to me," Of the firqhs lime juice Sir Charles says it is a genuine lima juice of the- very best,” and Mr Clayton “that it must be pronounced an excellent preparation.’ Equally commendatory are their remarks on Messrs Thomson’s Ginger Wine. “An extremely good quality beverage, absolutely pure,” is Sir Charles’ comment; while Mr Clayton’s verdict is that it comes under the category of the highest class of such products.
