A DESPERATE ROBBERY.
NEW YORK, December 4.—-Two desperadoes held up and robbed a saloon at Sedrow r o!ey in Washington State. A band of citizens pursued and surrounded the robbers. A fierce rifle battle raged for twenty minutes during which period one of the desperadoes surrendered and the others were fatally wounded. A MADMAN’S CRIME. Received this da yat 8.45 a.m. LONDON, December 4.—The verdict of the Coroner’s jury was that Cooper who murdered Sanger, the well-known showman, is insane. The evidence show that the accusation of theft preyed pn his mind. A DRASTIC DECISION. LONDON, December 4.—A Gazette recently the cancellation of the Rev. F. P. The former voiced a demand by military and war preparations on the Italian frontier. •
