SENTENCE OF SEVEN YEARS IMPOSED. BT TBI.EGBAPH —PBB PBE3B ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, Doc. 3. In the Supreme Court Yesterday, Martha. Jane O’Shauglmessy, convicted of manslaughter in connection with the death of Elsie Holland at King.sland was sentenced to seven years imprisonment.
The jury found Mary Hassol and Charlotte Campbell guilty of conspiring to defeat the ends of justice and .lames O’Shauglmessy not guilty. James O’Shaughnessy was therefore discharged and Campbell and Hassol each st-n----tenccd to twelve months imprisonment.
