Bates) last evening telegraphed the following weather summary and forecast: —“The winds have changed to north and east, and freshened everywhere, with decreasing barometric pressure. The weather has been warm and with increasing cloudiness Present indications are for the development of a westerly storm area, high northerly winds veering to westerly, cloudy and unsettled weather prevailing and rain probable in most parts of the country. The barometer will probably fall everywhere.” ! The Rev. D. C.
