CENSUS RETURNS.
NOTICE TO FACTORY OWNERS. With respect to the information required by the Census Department fpr the purpose of industrial statistics, we are informed that owing to some objection having been taken by a number of employers to supplying the information required by the Census Departihent to officers of Labour Department, 1 has been decided that Census Department will collect the information through its own officers, and the information will therefore not be collected by the Labour Department.
