The benefit performance to be given by Mr Tom Moore of the Pollard Picture Co., in aid of the local brass band, is to take place in Stevens’ Hall on Wednesday, 29th March. This performance will also be supported by several first-class vocalists, whose services Mr A. Leitch and his committee have secured. As this entertainment is for a worthy object, it is to be hoped that every . person in the district will be present. PROPERTY SALE. At a sale of proper-ties held here last week, our worthy citizen, Mr Edward Williams, purchased the homestead and sections owned by Mr R.
