The fifteenth quarterly meeting of the Runanga Co-operative Society will be held in the Miners’ Hall, Runanga, to-morrow night (Thursday), at 7.30, at Avhich all members are requested to attend. Noble and Sons, dairvjjen, Seven Mile, advertise that all outstanding accounts duo to them must he paid by Saturday, March 25th, and that in future all accounts must be paid fortnightly.

Tenders are invited in our advertising columns for pulling- down a building and clearing a site for a new building, particulars of Avhich may be obtained from H. A general meeting of the , Greymouth branch of the New Zealand Labor Party will be held in the Lyceum Hall to-night at eight o’clock for the consideration of the platform drawn up by the committee, and which appeared in Monday’s “Star.” All members and intending members are requested to attend. A grand vaudeville entertainment will be held in the Opera House on Monday next, March 27th, in aid of Mrs B. Sherman and children. The management is in the capable hands of Messrs J. Budge and J. Bryant, which should be sufficient guarantee to the public of Greymouth of a first-class performance. Twenty artists, the pick of vaudeville amateurs, will appear. It is, therefore, to be hoped that the public will not fail to assist a good cause. Delightful singing, enchanting music and graceful dancing, ydl! combine to make a first-class entertainment.
