TENNIS. HEATH WINS SINGLES’ CHAMPIONBHIP. Received this day at 8:50 a.in. ADELAIDE, This Day. In the tennis tournament, the Australasian Singles Championship was won by Heath (Victoria), who defeated Rice (Now South Wales) hy 6 to 4, 6 to 3 and, 6 to 2. Heath had previously disposed of Parker.
A TOURNAMENT. To-day two tennis tournaments are being held. The senior Grey and Hokitika teams play at Hokitika and the junior teams at Greymouth.
CRICKET. MATCH POSTPONED.
On account of the inability of the Muwhom Cricket Club to raise a team owing to there being two half-holidays already this week, the cricket match, which was to have taken place at Hokitika to-day was postponed till next Saturday.
