The Kaitoa sails at four o'clock thi: afternoon for Wellington direct. The l'ukaki arrived last night and sailec for Westport and Dunedin tiiis afternoon The schooner Lily, produce laden, lef Lytt'-lton yesterday morning for Grey mouth.
'[ho Waimea arrived yesterday afteriioou and sailed the same night at midnight for Wellington direct. The Alexander leaves Wellington tomorrow night for Nelson and the Coast. She is duo here early on Monday morning. The following passengers avriver per s.s. Mapourika yesterday: Misses Moynahan, Raysan, Petrio. Roberts, M. Siddells, Pearson, Quirv: Mesdamcs Mitchell, W. Naughton, Hopkins (2), Raysan, Messrs Snoad, Meale, Loekhead, Proscott, Liddell, Young, Meak, Hart. Falconer, McCann, Banks, Bates, Fitzgerald. Pickering. Wright, do Bakker, James and 18 steerage. Unco again coal from Newcastle is to be poured into New Zealand to the detriment of the local industry. It is announced that as soon as coal is available at Newcastle the Waihora will load there for NewZealand ports. The Kurow is now at Newcastle, loading, and is expected to sail this week for New Zealand. The Kaiapoi, after discharging limber at Adelaide, will go to Newcastle to load coal, and the Wairu'na, after delivering coal at Sydney from Weslport, and will also load coal at Newcastle for New Zealand.
