GREYMOUTH SWIMMING CLUB
FIRST WEEK I.V RACE. Yesterday afternoon the Greymouth Amateur Swimming Club conducted the first, race of tin* present season. Mr. E. McDonnell acted as starter and Dr. James W. McHrearty and Mr. Adam Wilson as judges. Six competitors entered for the race, which resulted as follows: — E. Moss (1 second) 1 W. dittos (4 seconds) 2 Won with comparative ease. The Committee have arranged another match for next, week, when the distance will be ninety yards .
