Lord Rue ran second at Plumpton, first at Ellesmere, 1 2 miles in 4 min. 16 sec, winning by 60 yards untrained, hirst at Plumpton, Christchurch, 1 mile in 2 min 42 sec. First at the Metropolitan Grand National Meeting, 1£ miles, in 4 min. 16 sec., on a heavy tiack.
