In the course of the debate on the Loan Bill the Premier said that a strong general effort had been made for sometime past to weaken the general finance of the Country. That was a serious statement but he could prove it and if he got the opportunity would do it in a manner that would astonis.i the House, If he could get permission to use the correspondence m his hands he would prove it up to the hilt. Ine Bill was read a third time on the voices and tho House adjourned at midnight.
