Proposed by Or O’Eegan, seconded by Cr Scantlebury and carried that (ho letting of the contract for (ho piece of Mamin road referred to in his report bo left in the hands of the Engineer. Proposed by Cr Scantlebury and seconded by Cr Dewater and carried (hat an” application be made to the Cummis sinner of Police through the Inspector to instruct, the police in Eeefton to impound cattle found straying on the streets of Eeefton or to take proceedings against the owners.
