HORSE AND CATTLE NUISANCE

(To the Editor.) Sir,—lt is really time the Borough Council took some severe measures to abate the above nuisance. We have a poundkeeper, and he should visit the upper part of the town. There's money in it for that man at present. When one sees people driving their horses and cows up the road to pasture for the night, it certainly is time it was put a stop to. I trust these few lines will be the means of a hint to our Councillors to move in the matter. —Yours, etc., OBSERVER. Greymouth, May 22nd.
