The sum if £5372 10s passed through the totalisator, including £ll4l on the double machine, operated on the Empire and Royal Handicaps, won by Waipuna and Ben Blair respectively. The dividend was £513 18s. The results arc : Handicap Maiden Hurdles, one mile and a-half and one hundred yards.—Silicia 1, Corporal 2, Midyear 3. Scratched— Lucks All. Divs., £2 Ss and £2 16s. Maiden Plato, seven furlongs.—Bromide 1, Lunetta 2, Hillflower 3. Scratched— Stepney, Fretwork and War Cloud. Divs, £5 Is and £2 19s. Empire Handicap, one mile and a-quar-ter—Waipuna 1, Delania 2, Akarana 3. Scratched—Certainty. Divs., £7 13s and £1 2s. Royal Handicap, five furlongs. Ben Blair 1, Ben 2, Miss Winnie 3.
