The Chairman' of the Charitable Aid Board brought before the meeting of that body the matter of the plans proposed for IheMaternity Home building. He said tiiafc the architect found on examining the refuge that was to be fitted up for the home that the walls were full of an insect called the borer, and he considered tiiat it would be a pity to spend the Government grant of £SOO in repairing such a building.
