Society shows a gain in (he volume of business in force of no less Ilian £1.582.657. Claims bv deaths amounted to £739,657, including £221,225 for bonus additions, the experience in this respect being largely within expectations. .From (he Actuary's report, it appears that all participating policies issued prior to 1903 have been valued as heretofore at 51, per cent, and those issued since at 3 per cent. The amount of cash surplus available for division is £635,532, which will provide revisionary additions aggregating about £1,200,000.
