PERTH, This Day.—Application lias been made to the Full Court for a writ of habeas corpus by Maxwell, who is awaiting extradition to Now Zealand. Objection was raised on behalf on the Crown that the rule nisi must bo discharged as the established precedent of supportin'! an application b yputting in a copy of a warrant of committment had not been complied with. The Court upheld tho objection and discharged tho rule. A VALUABLE DISCOVERY. PERTH. This Day.—The Minister of Mines has received a report of the discovery of aspbaltuni of excellent quality in Albany harbor.
