She arrived at Lvtlelton on Saturday last with 1150 sheep. After landing these she sailed again for another load. Mr Hunter, late chief otlicer of the Warrimoo, is at present in temporary command of the Rotoiti, in the Welling ton-Nelson-Taranaki-Oneliunga service in place of Captain Robertson, who has taken charge of the Takapuna whilst Captain Holford is away on holiday leave. Owing to the hirge imports of general cargo during the last few days, an extra number of railway trucks have had to he used to get the consignments for Hok.ui;a and elsewhere away, with the result, that there is a shortage of waggons for the carriage of timber, with its attendant delay to shipping. Captain Hutchings, who had charge ol the Poherua for some time, and subsequently took temporary command of the Tarawera in the East Coast trade, has just relinquished charge of that vessel in order to lake over the Moura, which is employed in the Island trade. Mr T. A Douglas, late chief otlicer of the Wainiii. accompanies him as chief. The Moura left Dunedin on Saturday last for Suva. Fiji, via Westport.
