PERSONAL NOTES

Mr and Mrs G. W. Moss, who have been staying in Greymouth with Mr and Mrs G. T. Moss for the last few weeks, left for Tiniaru overland this morning. .Mr \V. H. Uudderidge, representing Hayward Bros., world famous pickles, sauces, vinegars, preserves, etc., will visit the Coast next week. Mr P. MoKocgan, a member of the Westport City Band, left Westport the other day for Blenheim, where lie is to reside. By Mr McKcegan's departure, the Band loses a good reliable member. In some five or six successive contests in which Mr Me Keegan was a competitor in the Tenor Horn solos, he was only defeated once. Mr McKeegan intends to compete at the big contest at Christchurch during exhibition time. A very pretty wedding took place in the Presbyterian Church, Hokitika, Rev. Stewart officiating, when Jane, youngest daughter of Mr P. Lausten, of Red Jacks, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr W. Campbell, of Hokitika. The bride, who was given away by her brother-in-law, looked very nice in a slate-colored dress, the bodice being trimmed with white satin and lace, and wore white chiffon hat, and carried a shower bouquet, and was attended by three bridesmaids—Miss Rundle from Greymouth, who wore a smart 'grey costume and white hat. also two little nieces of the bride, who looked very pretty in pale blue drosses and white silk hats. Mr LnSten, brother of the bride, acted as best man. After the ceremony the wedding couple left the church amidst showers of rice for the residence of Mr H. Blanks, where afternoon tea waspartakm of. The bride and bridegroom left by the 5.30 p.m. train for Greymouth, carrying with them the best wishes of all.
