SCHOOLMASTERS. Education Department, Wellington, 9th May, 1906. A PPLICATIONS, addressed to the xX Secretary for Education, will be received up to the 31st day of May, for the positions of teachers of the undermentioned Native Schools: School, Teu Ah Ahu; locality, Bay of Islands, Auckland; attendance, 19. * School, Kaiwhata; locality, Flat Point, Wellington; attendance, probably between 20 and 30. Applicants may also apply in general terms for other Native Schools that may become vacant. Salary will not be less than that provided by Colonial scale for schools of same size. Passages paid. Contract No. 2.—Arnold Flat, four men, about 40 chains. /ontract No. 3.—ln Arnold Flat, four men, about 40 chains. 'ontract No. 4.—ln German Gully, five men, about 40 chains. Contract No. s.—ln L.H. Branch New River, five men, about 50 chains, ontract No. 6.—ln New River, four men, about 37 chains, ontract No. 7.—Enlarging Race, Riverton Terrace, six men, about 100 chains. These contracts are for ditching uly, without tunnels or flumes.
