A missing holt containing' £6OOO was a subject raised at an inquest held at the Morgue yesterday afternoon by Mr dames Ashcroft, District Coroner, concerning the death of George Cassidy, a Greek, 62 years of ago. On Thursday last he got a cartload of lirewood, and, whilst assisting to unload the vehicle, suddenly became uiddy, and three or four minutes later collapsed on the door of the cart. Dr Chappie was summoned, and on arrival ten minutes later pronounced life to be extinct. Subsequently he made a postmortem examination of the body, and found that death was due to heart failure. Ethel Cassidy, (laughter of deceased, in the course of her evidence, said her lather wore n bell, and when ho first canto from Fiji it contained AJif’CH notes.
