THE OPERA “DOROTHY.”

The Dorothy Opera will certainly have a successful season. Wo had the pleasure of witnessing a rehearsal that took place last evening at Dorothy Hall, and we predict that the local amateurs will be a credit to our fair West Coast town. All parts have been carefully rehearsed under their popular conductress—Miss Easson, whose previous productions have always drawn bumper houses. Dorothy is going to surpass all these. Special scenery has been prepared by Messrs Vickerman, Grogan, and Trerise, who have been indefatigable in their efforts. A short musical rehearsal takes place tonight at usual place. As the proceeds go towards the Grey Eiver Hospital, wo doubt not but that sympathy with a deserving cause will also aid in drawing large audiences.
