APPOINTMENT OF HEALTH OFFICERS.

In connection with the Health Department the following appointments as district Health officers have been made by the Cabinet.
Dr M’Gill, Auckland. Dr Valentine, Wellington. Dr Morice (Jnr) Westland, Dr Eoberts, Nelson and Marlborough. Dr Synaes Canterbury.
The first two are permanent appoint" meats, the others are temporary. No ap pointment for Otago and Southland has yet been made.
