DEATH OF THE KING
The funeral of the late King Edward VIL will take place to-morrow afternoon, and fitting arrangements are being made everywhere to mark the sorrowful-function; Local public offices and schools will be closed, and busitiess places will doubtless do the same for some hours.
Divine' service of a memorial character will be held by the Rev. Parker in front of. the Post Office steps, commencing at 2.30 p.m. A special and impressive lorm of service has been prepared, and all loyal subjects are iuvited to attend.
