Cable) Sydney, March 1 Further developments occurred late last night in tin- Pilliga mysterdy, «ben Annie Elizabeth Richards, aged 45, a married woman, was charged in tli e Taimvortli Hospital with the murder of George Nott. A special court was constituted at the hospital for the purpose. Henry Richards, aged 53, husband of Annie Elizabeth Richards, was today charged at Tamworth with being an accessory after the fact in that lie harboured and maintained his wife at Rngilbone on February 14 knowing that she had murdered George Nott. He was remanded. Mrs Richards’s condition is improving. THE MCRDF.It A message dated February 23 stated that it l.ad been reported that u woman made u statement to the police that had had a quarrel with Nott while sitting in'a car. She is stated to have said that she struck him with a stone, killing him instantly. She afterwards dragged the body from the car, built a fire and incinerated tile body. She then took the ear to Naomi River and sank it. The police said the woman later attempted to commit suicide. She was taken to hospital.
