WAR LOAN CONVERSION
EFFECT ON EXCHEQUER (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) Rugby, February 28 It was stated in Parliament that the direct gain to the Exchequer this year resulting from the \Y:ir Loan conversion operation is nearly £32,000.000 gross, or, if account is taken of loss of income tax and surtax, about £24,500,000 net.
