These prisoners had refused to work when the ship was three hays out- from Bombay. They complained at Port Lois that the vessel was unseaworthy and that she had insufficient lifeboats, which was not proved. They wer e ordered to return to work, hut refused to do so. The mutineers forced all hands to .sign a petition that the food was unfit to eat. The Captain with an armed guard arrested the mutineers, who are now in gaol here in Capetown.
