FAREWELL MEETING ADT. AND MRS FRASER A fine crowd assembled in. tile Salvation Army Citadel last night to bid farewell to Adjutant and Mrs Eraser, who are transfertrinsr to-day to Palmerston. These two officers had put in three years of excellent service in the Army’s work in Feilding and deep regret is felt at their departure. The. Mayor, Mr C. E. Taylor, in a few well chosen phrases eulogised the work of the Adjutant and his pood wife, particularly the social work. His Worship referred to Mrs F raser as a real martini. Many of the poorer families of the town had reason to number them amang their godsends. The Rev. E. 0. Dlamiiies and the Rev. S. .T. Gilbert representing: their respective congregations, Methodist and Bfcvptist. spoke of their fellowship with the Adjutant and wished the guests of the evening Godspeed in their new appointment Representative speakers of the local corps spoke feelingly of their association with Adjutant and Mrs Fraser and wished them God’s blessing in their new labours.

Letters of apology were re ceived from tlie Rev. D. R- McDonald and Brigadier Cottiill of the Army Division Headquarters in Palmerston. Musical items were supplied l»v the Band and Songsters and a solo by Miss I. Hughes were deeply appreciated.
