NURSES AND MIDWIVES ENABLING LEGISLATION (Per Press Association) Wellington, Sept. 27 Provision for purging tlie roll of nurses and midwives is contained in tlie Nurses and Midwives Amendment Bill. Tlie present roll contains tlie names of many who are dead or not practising their profession, hut there is no machinery for revising the list.
