When some photographers’ flash powder failed to fire the other evening, the two men bent over the plate holding the powder, which then exploded, causing burns to their faces. One of the photographers, Mr Mervyn Darling, of Coro mandel, was admitted to the Auckland hospital, but his condition 's not serious. The mishap occurred at a fancy dress bull held by Court Maid Marian, Ancient Order of Foresters, in the Foresters’ Hall, Albert street, Auckland.
