Feilding Stock Sale H -GGETS WERE FIRMER EM Eg YYERE EASIER At the Feilding yards yesterday with a large yarding of good quality fat *heep .prices for fat hoggets appreciate 1 ’by 2s a head at the stocK sale, but fat ewes, on the other hand, were down by 2s (5d to the prices of a fc» 1 n*glit ago. The store pons held a medium yarding, principally hoggets, which sold readdy at last week’s firm rates. The F u cattle included some lines c>, prime hillocks, which, however, did not reach as high prices as were expected, being fully 15s below the expected figures. A heavy yarding of dairy st-ock. principally springing heifers, met a dragging market, dairy farmers being over supplied. The store cattle market was firm Fat hoggets very prime, 23s 7d to 23s 9d ; prime line>. 20s 3d to 22s 6d ; good 17s 2d to 19s ; fair quality from from 16L. Fat ewes specially prime 20s 2d ; prime. 18s 6d to 19s 9d; good quality 17s 5d to 18s sd. Fat. in avion ewes, prime 22s 7d ; good. IBs 7d. Fat black-faces. 255.
