Cable) Vienna September 15 The Heimwehr Fascists have decide,;! unreservedly to accept Dr Doliuss’s leadership and incorporate tire whole of the armed force m the Chancellor’s patriotic front, greatly strengthening his position. Their leader, Prince Starhemberg, will not now press for tile suppression of the Social Democrats and th e appointment of a State Commissioner. Vienna, Social Democrats are issuing a,u appeal to the. country, declaring their readiness to co-operate in the economic restoration of the nation. A remarkable order indicative of the trend of Dr Dolfuss’s policy has been issued by General Vaugoln on behalf of the Ministry of National Defence. Tt orders that a crucifix be- placed in every room in the army barracks and, in adition, that a picture of the Virgin Alary be embroidered in regimental colours and squadron banners throughout the army.
