ON E-DAY COM PETIT lONS (Pep Press Association). Christchurch* September 16 The Canterbury Cricket Association has decided to call a special meeting of delegates to discuss the introduction of one-lay competition matches (instead of two), and of awarding to the fielding side one run for every maiden over bowled. These innovations have been urged in proposals by Mr W. H. W insor, the idea being to brighten the game.
