MAORI PARTY
VISIT TO FEILDING The Methodist church was well filled last evening- when members of the Maori choir assisted in the service, which wa sconducted by Maori deaconess, Sister Rangimaire Ellison. Several chants and choruses were tunefully sung. At Halcombe in the morning service the choir was present and assisted in the worship, and several members sang at the morning service in Feilding. At th© Majestic Theatre on Wednesday evening next the choir will render a most interesting and varied Maori programme. It will include hakas and poi dances, Waiata s and Maori melodies, lid examples of the stone age games. Several of the party are experts in stringed instrumental work, and these will feature strongly in the programme;
