WORST STORM

FOR MANY YEARS THE TOWN THREATENED (Per Press Association) Te Aloha, Sept. 11 Last night Te Arolia experienced the worst storm for many year s and rain is still falling. Country roads are under water and the Waihou River is raising at the rate of 18 inches per hour, so that it, will soon overflow its hanks, flooding the lower portions of the town. During the night a number of trees were uprooted, hut no serious damage is reported.
