FROM FIJI TREASURY ULLKK FACES 2 7 CHARGES Following investigations of a special committee regarding- an alleged robbery from the Treasury safe at Suva of £7OO, which caused a sensation in Fiji in March last, Hugh Re-ay s 30, a second class clerk in the Treasury, was charged at thePolice Court on 27 charges of alleged fraudulent application of moneys received by him in liis department. There was alleged falsification of the department's cashbook and alleged destruction of the rough cash book. Reay was remanded on bail. He was the cashier at the Treasury in
