(Received Oct. 5. 9.50 a.m.) London, Oct. 4. The Labour Conference agreed to an amendment in favour of the nationalising of the Bank of England and joint stock banks. Mi. Wise said the directors were excellent business men, judged from capitalist standards, but. all were anti-Socialist in sentiment.
