RELIEF OF DISTRESS
ANOTHER FUND STARTED TO GIVE IMMEDIATE RELIEF (Per Press Association.) Gisborne, Oct. 5. The deputy-Mayor has opened a fund for the, relief, of necessitous cases and those suffering from the recent earthquake. This is being supplementary to the national appeal and to be utilised for relieving distress immediately.
