SOVIET’S DECISION
TO LIQUIDATE CHURCHES The Observatore Romano, the Vatican newspaper says it has learned on excellent authority that the Gov eminent of Soviet Russia had issued a secret decree ordering “liquidation** of all churches by the* end of 1033. “The Bolsheviks,’* said the newspaper. “have decided to give effect as soon as i*ossible to their diabolical plan, elaborated down to the last detail, for a battle against religion.”
