FEILDING MUNICIPAL BAND BAZAAR
(To the Editor. Star) Sir.—Please l>e good enough to allow me through voir columns to sincerely thank all those good i>eoi>le who in any way assisted us in our efforts over the Queen Carnival and liazaar i>eriods. Particularly would t like to mention the three young ladies who allowed themselves to he nominated for the Queens, and their very hard-working committees. While the balance-sheet is not at the moment complete, I ean at least indicate at this stage that the main object, that of liquidating our hank overdraft, has been attained., and a credit balance sufficient to do very necessary repairs to the hand room remains, with jiossibly enough then left over to purchase a much-needed euphcnium. A fitting evening celebration to do honour to the Queens is under contemplation by the Committee of which, more later. — I am etc.. T. COLLINS President, (for tile Committee)
