It, is gathered on inquiry from Rugby Eniou officials that the postf removed were the property of the union, and, the unions lease of the ground having terminated, instructions were given to have the posts removed. They were taken down, hut, were re-erected on Saturday morning, and finally taken away about 1.30. No application for their vtqn had been received, nor had the match been advertised ns a benefit-.
