Lack of finance in the meantime bail prevented the engagement of another coach. The secretary, Mr. E. Stall worthy, said that negotiations were now in hand for the engagement next season of an Australian player-coach. Several Xew South Wales cricketers lnid been approached by the Suburban Association’s representative in Sydney and something definite was expected during' the present season. In the meantime tin* Suburban Association intended to* provide ways and means of financially assisting the project.
