M.C.C. CRICKET VISIT

TEAM 'TOURING AUSTRALIA TO PLAY THREE MATCHES TWO AGAINST X.Z. ELEVEN (Fer Press Association). Christchurch. June 2S Arrangements have been completed whereby ihy M.C.C. team whicli is to t,cui* Aiislnilin next season will visit New Zealand in the course of its return voyage to England. The suggested itinerary, which is being considered by the Management Committer of the New Zealand Cricket Council, will provide for matches in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland. One match will be played. in each centre an! two of the matches will probably he against New Zealand. The team will leave Sydney for New Zealand on March H» and will leave Auckland for England on April The Marylelione Club will he guarantee 1 the expenses of the tour and after these expenses have been pail any surplus will lie divided equally between the M.C.C. and the New Zealand Cricket. Council. Tho New Zealand tour will cause the team to arrive in England late for the county cricket matches. Consent of the counties had to be ohtainiol to the absence of leading players. Every county interested agreed to ar extension of the time.
