LICENSING AUTHORITIES NOW BEING SET UP AX EARLY ANNOUNCEMENT (Per Proas Association). Wellington. February 13. Within the next few days the Minister of Transport, the lion. .1. G. Coates, will announce the names of the appointees to Die district licensing authorities that are to bo set up in accordance with the transport legislation passed las! session. There are 10 such authorities, each of three members, to he appointed. Invitatons to accept appointment have already been sent out. to prospective appointees by Mr Coates, and immediately the replies are received the personnel of tho authorities will be announced.
