Eyons, amplifying liis statement in. legard to the proposed revision of the sugar agreement .said it was intended to reopen tlie agreement which fixes tlie eo s t of sugar to tho consumer because tlio Government ielt that the sugar industry should hear its share in tho general reduction of prices. Although the existing agreement Was Elndlng on the present Government, Air Lyons added, it proposed to invito the parties concerned -voluntarily to review its terms in tlie light of the altered conditions.
