MEN ON SUBMARINE M2 NO EVIDENCE OF TAPPINGS (Auat. and N.Z. Cable) Rugby. Feb. 13. From statements issued by the Admiralty regarding the sunken M2 it appears that no evidence has been found to sfiow iliat any compartment of 'the submarine remained habitable after the sinking. Nine vessels were employed with the objectof detecting tappings or signals hut without result. Echo sounding gear was used in tlie search and accounted for some of the tappings reported.
