Furthor evidence was heard to-day in the Supremo Court in the. clergyman masquerading case, ill which Charles Rammers and John Fitzgerald wore, charged with conspiring to defraud a moneylender of £Lj. Both accused conducted their own oases. The charges of eon-piracy against Reminds, and Fitzgerald failed, the jury .rc.turtiing a verdict of (not guilty. Remmers, who was convicted yesterday nn charges of forgery and attempted uttering, was sentenced to IS months’ imprisonment.
